The Osier Cowl is knitted flat and seamed along an Icord edge. The Osier stitch pattern uses slipped and cabled stitches.
When Kristan MacIntyre suggested a collaboration between her, Cara Barter of Spirit Song Fibre Studio and I, I couldn’t have been more excited! This collaboration honours Red Osier Dogwood, a plant that is culturally important to the Indigenous peoples in the area now known as British Columbia.

Red Osier is used for food, medicine, and arrows. It’s elegant form, delicate flowers, and intense red bark are the inspiration for this collaboration.
Pattern is available as a Kit including yarn, button, and pattern until November.
