Out of Africa is the 4th in my series of African inspired sock designs. This one is perhaps the most poignant with so many in Africa sick and dying from a horrible disease.

Motifs are borrowed reverently from those found on African Mud cloth. The creativity of the artists astounds me as there is such a wide variety, each one unique and beautiful.

The sock is knitted from the top down in contrasting shades of grey. I would love to see some of your variations - perhaps in some brighter colours to fend off the coming greys of winter
