Outback Henley
This zippered Henley features easy-to-memorize textured stitches, a faced stand-up collar, minimal seams, and unisex appeal.
The body is worked in one piece in rounds from the hem to the armholes in a modified rib pattern. At the armholes, the front and back are separated and worked separately to the shaped shoulders in a modified seed stitch pattern. After the shoulders are seamed, stitches are picked jp around the armholes for the sleeve caps, which are shaped with short-rows. The sleeves are then worked in rounds to the cuffs, allowing for easy length adjustment.
The zipper is sewn in by hand (visit annbuddknits.com/2013/05/inserting-a-zipper for details on inserting a zipper); knitted facings cover the zipper tape on the inside of the yoke for a neat finish inside and out.
The super soft yarn is 100% Australian superfine merino in a versatile DK weight.
