The Beret Knitting Pattern will allow you to create a slouchy beret in the style of the MacKenzie clan grey berets seen worn in all seasons of the Outlander series.

This beret is knit flat – back and forth on straight needles.

Yarn

Yarn - Cascade 220 in Grey 8401.

Please note that the yarn used is made with 100% wool.

You can substitute with any worsted/10 Ply yarn.

Yarn weight - Medium Weight Yarn 04/Worsted/Aran/10 Ply.

Needles

4 mm (US 6) Knitting needles.

5 mm (US 8) Knitting needles.

• SKILLS

Level – Easy

This is an easy level knitting pattern and the techniques involved are the knit stitch, purl stitch, ribbing, casting on and casting off.

Seaming – the beret is seamed and there is a tutorial link in the pattern to help you.

• SIZING

To fit a regular-sized head (around 22/24 inches).
