I love contrasting seams and what would be a better way to make them than Three-Needle Bind-off. So easy, yet so decorative. Because of my love for Estonian knitting, I added another contrasting detail - the Vikkel braid.

So here comes Outlined - a simple and modern top-down sweater with contrasting details. Dolman-like sleeves are worked as seamless extensions of the body and joined with Three-Needle Bind-off on right side of the work, creating visible seams. The shoulders and sleeves are shaped with short rows, as well as the hem.
Estonian technique called Vikkel Braid finishes the edges.

The pattern includes several construction schematics to help to understand the construction and the assembly of the sweater. Photo tutorial for Vikkel Braid is also provided.
