Amidst the swathes of windswept sea grass, this basic beach sweater makes for a welcome companion.
Worked in the round from the top down with raglan sleeve construction and no shaping involved, Over the Dunes is a perfectly simple, front-back reversible pullover with a relaxed fit, suitable for all skill levels.Try it in a cotton-linen blend as a summer staple, or in a rustic wool as a year-round piece.

Sizing:
fits 81cm (86cm, 91cm, 96cm, 102cm) chest
32” (34”, 36”, 38”, 40”) chest
Yarn Requirements:
suitable for heavy DK weight to light aran weight yarns, depending on tension & needles used
shown in Rowan Creative Linen, Natural and Lilac
Colour A: 90g (100g, 120g, 150g, 190g)
Colour B: 280g (300g, 330g, 365g, 400g)
Other yarn suggestions:
Drops Bomull-Lin; West Yorkshire Spinners BFL (DK or Aran)*
Tension:
18 stitches x24 rows= 10cm (in stockinette)
Needles:
4.00-5.00mm circular (as needed to get gauge)
Optional: double-pointed needles of same size for sleeves
Notions:
stitch markers, tapestry needle, scrap yarn

Provisional Cast-On
A note on yarn quantities: This sweater requires roughly 400-600g yarn in total, depending on size and on yarn/tension. If substituting yarn or re-arranging the colourblock distribution, be aware that yarn quantities will change!
