Overtones is the perfect cowl for sped and colour play.

The pattern is simple and creates an interesting texture with oblique raised lines running at an angle in one colour, and subtle texture lines running across the current in the under colour. The result is a very warm, snuggly cowl which is narrow enough to be worn like a scarf, but without the risk of falling off and being left on a train somewhere.

Play with pairing a solid yarn with a variegated, or two contrasting colours, or knitting a gradient yarn from both ends.
