Jacket is made from 248 crochet squares, using thinner yarn, joined as-you-go with thicker yarn. Squares in 25 colour combinations. Each is 5 cm, made of three rounds, including joining round. Some squares have a flower embroidered onto them.

After joining, a deep ribbed hem is added, and a collar, and buttonband. Sleeves are knitted in 2x2 rib with a band of square motifs to make a cuff. Small knitted appliqué flowers decorate the collar and cuffs.

Garment size is for 100cm circumference, unshaped design makes it simple to resize.
