Pacman balaclava is a wonderfully warm balaclava that can be pulled over the mouth and nose on cold days on the ski slopes, sled run, mountain hike or in windy weather at the seaside. The instructions include measurements for small and large heads and, due to the rib pattern, it is elastic and moves smoothly when worn. The balaclava therefore does not feel tight on the head at all. It is worked from the bottom up with double thread of soft merino yarn. For the opening at the face, stitches are cast off and then cast on again in the same place after a few rounds.
The brown version is worked in Pop Merino by HipKnitShop in colour “Chocolate toffee“.
