Project Description: “An organic, flowing stranded colorwork motif takes center stage in the simply shaped Painted Lady Boho Bag. Just two strands of long-stripe yarn create an intricate effect that’s much simpler to knit than it looks.”

Designer Note: “This bag begins at the base with Judy’s Magic cast-on and is worked back and forth on half of the stitches to create a long, narrow rectangle for the length of the bottom of the bag. Stitches are picked up around the rectangle, and bag body is worked up in the round. At the top, a third of the stitches at each end are grafted together, and the center third is bound off to create the bag opening. Straps are worked up and joined using Kitchener stitch.”
