The Painter’s Path Scarf is a color progression story of your own making in Freia Minikin yarns. The pattern calls for four Minikins with color ends that match each other to create a long slow fade across multiple balls. The final scarf as shown here is about 10″ wide and 63″ long. Surround the Minikins with a contrasting semi-solid color – or go wild and use more gradients for the edging!

The pattern is an entrelac design, worked at a angle. You can make the scarf wider, narrower and any length to suit your preference. This is a hard project to put down as you will be transfixed by the subtle color changes and likely get into a “just one more square” mode! The skills needed are knit, purl and picking up stitches.

Every aspect of knitting should bring joy and be fun – this project fits the bill perfectly! The combo of color and design is engaging, satisfying, addicting and striking!
