This top-down shawl begins with the simplest of stitches and increases: double crochet with increases on each edge and double increase in the middle of every row. I chose a variety of edgings to manipulate into lace panels, working them differently to wrap the middle point of the shawl. I think it would make a stunning wedding shawl.
