Pampilles
Un modèle très simple qui ne nécessite pas d’échantillon, aussi je n’en indique pas. La fiche explicative est disponible sur Ravelry, et via mon blog De fil en aiguille.
Le châle terminé mesure 131 x 64 cm.
Gauge is not crucial for this pattern, so I do not mention it.
The pattern is available in Ravelry and on my blog De fil en aiguille, now in French only. For English language readers, you can download the English diagram, meanwhile I’m able to publish a full translation.
For the moment, thanks to Ana, I can give you an explanation about the “pampilles”. Before, you have to make (US termionology) :
- 1 row : dc
- 1 row : hdc and sc for the last border row, with the “pampilles” :
“Above each motif, form the “pampille” : 1 sc inserting the crochet hook under the 3 ch of the 1st row edge, ch 5, insert hook in the 4th ch from hook and make one cluster with 5 treble (5 tr hook together), on top of the cluster make 4 ch, insert hook in the first ch and make 1 cluster with 4 tr. Now you have two clusters open like a shell. With 1 sp at the top of the remaining ch (from the first 5 ch) you flip one cluster over the other and have a pampille. It looks like two hollow shells put together.”

I hope it’s help.
The finished shawl is 131 x 64 cm.
And for those who prefer written patterns, yarnishness as converted the diagram to words. You can find them here. Thank to her.
