Paper Dolls
A playful yoke sweater, with a string of Paper Dolls. The pattern was upgraded and reissued with an extended size range in 2020 as part of 10 Years in the Making.
Yarn
Kate Davies Designs Milarrochy Tweed (70% Wool; 30% Mohair; 100m / 109yds per 25g ball)
A Hirst: 6 (6, 7, 8, 8, 9, 10, 11, 11,12) x 25g balls
B Ardlui: 2 (2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 3) x 25g balls
C Backen’: 1 (1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 2) x 25g balls
Needles and Notions
Gauge-size and below gauge-size circular needles of appropriate lengths for working body, yoke, and neckline
Gauge-size and below gauge-size needle(s) of your preferred type for working small circumferences
Stitch markers of two types, x and y
Waste yarn for holding stitches
Tapestry needle
Gauge
28 sts and 36 rounds to 10cm / 4in over colourwork pattern and stockinette in the round using gauge-size needle. If your gauge tends to tighten when working small circumferences or colourwork, you may need to go up a needle size for sleeves and yoke. Use 3.25mm needle as a starting point for swatching.

Finished bust: 85.5 (90, 97, 101.5, 109, 117.5, 127.5, 138, 146.5, 154) cm / 33¾ (35½, 38¼, 40, 42¾, 46¼, 50¼, 54¼, 57¾, 60½) in
Shown in the second size with 10cm / 4in positive ease.
Pattern notes
This cap-sleeved, circular yoke pullover is knitted from the bottom up, all in one piece. The body is made first, followed by the sleeve caps, before joining together and working the colourwork yoke from a chart.
