Named by my sister Emily for just the reason you think, these socks incorporate cables, seed stitch, and ribbing for stretchy, accommodating socks; even the gussets have ribbing! They are knit cuff-down and feature a reinforced slipped stitch heel flap. A bit of contrasting color at the cuff and/or toe adds to their charm.
PATTERN DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Intermediate;
Skills required include: cables, slipped sts, picking up sts, short-row shaping, patterned gussets, decreases, grafting
SIZES:
Adult S M, L: stretches to fit 7.75 9, 10.5“ /19.5 23, 26.5cm foot circ with ~ 1”/2.5cm negative ease
GAUGE:
Stockinette st & smaller needles, 36 sts & 52 rows = 4”/10cm
Stockinette st & larger needles, 34 sts & 46 rows = 4“/10cm
