Parakeet
A lightweight top is a welcome addition to any wardrobe and this fresh piece in 12 sizes (XXS to 1X) and 2X to 7X, works for you in any season. Knit in the round from hem to neck, it features a simple openwork stitch pattern in the sleeve and side seam detail; the rest is worked in stockinette with ribbed finishes. Instructions include two sleeve lengths, a V-neck OR placket and collar finish—plus, the body length is easily adjusted. Work in lightweight wool for year-round comfort or opt for an airy plant-based blend for warmer climates. Collar and rib trims may also be worked in a contrasting color if desired.

Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size, drape, and yardage requirement. If working with a silky fiber, choose the size closest to actual chest circumference, even if the size has slight negative ease; for woolly fibers, choose the first size above the actual chest circumference, or the size above that for more ease.
Sample shown is size S short sleeve version with collar and placket finish, worn with approximately 0 to 2 inches of ease and knit in Bare Naked Wools Special Edition Merino/Silk Fingering, color Lime Sherbet
