> Parallel Lines Shawl

Parallel Lines Shawl
Combining the properties of a parallelogram, a rectangle and triangles, the Parallel Lines Shawl begins with a provisional cast on and is worked outwards from the centre.
After a straight centre section, the triangles are worked identically and the resulting shawl has two opposite ends of equal width. However the outer points of the shawl are offset due to the opposite placement of each triangle increases.
The stitch pattern is a combination of garter stitch ridges and eyelets. Using two yarns knitted together crease a soft, lightweight knitted fabric that drapes beautifully.
