PARIS SWEATER

Paris Sweater is a soft, cosy and stylish sweater knitted sideways. The sweater has ¾ length bat shaped brioche sleeves and a decorative cable section on the front and back – with rib edging on sleeves, neck and body.

The sweater comes in a summer and a winter version; one with lighter yarn bases and one with heavier. Actually, both can be used all year round :-) It can be dressed up with a nice skirt and heels or turned into comfort wear along with a pair of jeans. You choose! The pattern comes in 7 different sizes to fit your body; XS to 3XL.

GAUGE: The sweater is knit sideways, and has 24 horisontal sts and 17 vertical rows on a 10x10 cm cable pattern.

NEEDLES: I have used 5 and 6 mm circular needles/dpns and a cable needle.

MATERIALS: For the ‘winter’ version I have used: One string of Önling no 1 and one string of Lamana Premia for the body - and Krea Deluxe Shiny for the bronze details.

For the ‘summer’ version I have used: Lana Grossa Cool Wool Fine and Lana Grossa Silkhair for the body and Krea Deluxe Shiny for the silver details. Alternative yarn base could be Mohair by Canard - brushed lace and 1 ply.

You can use any combination of kidsilk/mohair and light fingering/fingering/sock/DK that matches the gauge.

I hope, you’ll enjoy the #Parissweater as much as I have enjoyed designing it!
