My mom passed away in March. Her name was Parvaneh which means butterfly in Farsi. I have designed a shawlette with a butterfly border in her memory. The shawlette begins with knitted scallops cast on (Instruction included) and some bead knitting for the body of the butterflies and edging. If you do not like bead knitting, you can totally ignore the beads and knit the shawlette without them. It will be equally beautiful. I have used 425 beads for this shawlette.
