The beads I used for the sample appear to be a lighter weight at about 15 beads per gram rather than the standard 12 beads per gram. For the small you will need about 700 beads, for the large about 1200 beads. I have updated the requirements below and on the pattern.

This is a quick and fun 1 skein project.
Any color yarn will work and it would look great in self striping or color change yarn. Pasg is Welsh for palm. Palm Sunday falls in Spring and the pattern is reminiscent of the palm motif prevalent in the Art Deco style.

About 48in/96in by 10 inches depending on block.
48 in shown in green above. The longer 96 inch version may be doubled around your neck and tied in the same fashion.

Kits are available from EarthFaire.

60g/100g or 700/1200 size 6/0 seed beads (it is a good idea to buy extra.

1 small button to attach to the decorative button. This button needs to be able to be slipped through the stitches to allow for adjustment.
