Perhaps the most quintessential layering piece of all time, cardigans are such that you can never have too many. Not your grandfather’s sweater, the delicate rows of slipped stitches in the Passage Cardigan work to create a subtle fishbone effect, and pair so satisfyingly with the squishy garter sections.

The body of this cardigan is knit flat to the armholes, then the two front sections and the back are worked separately to the shoulder. The sleeves are worked flat, and then seamed and sewn into the body armholes. The front bands and collar are picked up and knit back and forth.
