Patchwork Blanket
Garter stitch blanket worked in strips which are then sewn together; a garter-stitch border completes the blanket. The size of the blanket can be adjusted up or down by changing the weight of the yarn.
The Patchwork Blanket, from the book Knits from the Heart , is the perfect gift for the upcoming baby shower and precious bundle in your life. It’s also an ideal pattern for knitting guilds, church groups or knitting clubs to take on as a charitable giving project. Assign each strip to a different member of the group, and you will have a blanket in no time! Lining the blanket is recommended, as it has a definite wrong side due to all the seaming. Finished size 37” x 39”
