Yarn needle
3 stitch markers - 2 to mark edges & 1 locking to mark right side
Blocked Gauge:
12 sts and 36 rows over 4”/ 10cm in brioche Stockinette stitch. Note: exact gauge is not
critical to this design. Gauge variations may impact final size and yardage requirements.
Special Notes:
Bind It Off: be sure not to cinch the brioche as you bind off. You may wish to use
a very large needle. To check, allow the brioche to spread naturally and measure
at the end of the final Row 12. After binding off, recheck to ensure you have the
same measurement (or very close).
Customize It: Check out the Knit Eco Chic blog, Summer Stitching
Customization, for short row customization ideas.
Yarn Over It: on ws rows, work the yarn over between the last slipped st and the
next knit by moving yarn over needle. Do not work a full wrap. This will help
control the length of the float.
