Patterned Jewels
Rich colour meets its perfect match in this decadent mitered square blanket. With a seamless construction, easy patterning, and squishy garter stitch, it’s a masterful beauty that rivals any quilt.
PATTERN NOTES
Each square is worked individually by working off of another square (picking up stitches). Decreases are worked in the center to shape the piece into a square. A schematic is provided on p. 4 to show how the final arrangement looks.
You can add more squares for a bigger blanket (by adding squares to the end of each strip, adding more strips, or a combination of both) or remove squares for a smaller blanket (either by working less squares on the end, less strips, or a combination of both).
This pattern is included in your School of SweetGeorgia membership in the Mitered Square Blanket workshop, where the designer walks you through every step with video tutorials.
