Paul Atwell Socks
This is a pattern I developed for my Family Trunk Project series. It’s based on my great-grandfather, Paul Atwell, a Kentucky farm boy who moved to California and worked in the Navy shipyards. It’s a simple stitch pattern with a few graceful details, sized for men or women. For more on the man or the socks, check out the pattern page.
Pattern cost is $3.50 here or from the Family Trunk Project pattern page.
I will also trade this pattern for two pages of your own family story.
Errata: Bottom of column 1, page 3 should read: “On Needle 1, k2tog, k to end of needle. Work across other two
