The following stitches were used in this pattern the Pointelle Stitch, the Lattice edging, and the Plaited Basket stitch. For those knitters that have never heard of this stitch I have enclosed a video tutorial within the pattern.
The Pdf file will come with written & charted instructions for the shawl, but none for the lattice edging.

The pattern can be embroidered or left to stand alone without the embroidery when finished, it will look good either way.
size of shawl will be 45”length x 23”width

Optional: A button, or Circle wooden pin can be used if you would like to have the shawl stay closed instead of being draped over you.

The use of embroidery on this piece gave it that summer look and aren’t embellishments always needed to give us that extra WOW factor. Well this is exactly what happened when I finished it off with embroidery.

I used Red Heart Fiesta (MC) about 1 1/2 skeins. And Red Heart Soft Yarn Multi not even a 1/2 skein.

With my yarn stash I embroidered the branches using the chain stitch. The leaves were with the lazy daisy stitch and french knots for the wisteria flowers and if you have any beads you could mix it up with the french knots.
