Skill Level: Intermediate (Requires knowledge of sc, dc, FPdc, and BPdc stitches).

Size: One size fits most. Hat measures approximately 20” around and 8” long (not including the brim). Hat brim measures 2” wide.

Materials:
-A total of approximately 250 yards of Aran or heavy worsted weight yarn.

Gauge:
5 dc with I hook = 1.5”, and 2 rows of dc with I hook = 1”. Hat should measure 3.75” in diameter after Rnd 3, and 6.75” in diameter after Rnd 6.

Tools:
-Hook: Sizes I/9 (5.5mm) and G/6 (4mm), or size to obtain correct gauge.
