Pea Pods
I found this lace motif on a doily and couldn’t stop thinking of it. As I knitted, it turned into little peas, small and sweet. The repetetive shawl body is followed by a large flowerlike bouquet of pods.
Pea Pods is a crescent-shaped shawl. Instructions are written and charted, wrong side rows are purled. Pea Pods requires 300-650 meters of blockable lace or fingering weight yarn and is easily enlarged by adding repeats. A small warning that the edge uses up a lot of yarn.
