Peacock Beanie
Peacock Beanie is an elegant hat worked in the round from the bottom up in a beautiful charted peacock stitch pattern using 2 strands of either Merino, Cotton Merino or Pure Silk held together throughout.
You start working a ribbed brim so that the hat will fit snuggly around the ears. Afterwards, you work from charts and shape the crown with decreases.

Yarn: 2 strands of Knitting for Olive Merino, Cotton Merino or Pure Silk (250 m 273 yd / 50 g 1.8 oz), fingering-weight yarn, 1 (1, 1, 1) // 1 ball.

Needles: 4 mm / US6 circular and double-pointed needles, or in size to obtain gauge
Gauge (after blocking): 29 sts and 31 rows = 10 cm 4” in pattern (Chart A) with 4 mm / US6 needles.
1 repeat of Chart A measures: Width (at the widest point): 4 cm 1½”; Height: 5 cm 2”
