Keep your precious gadgets safe with this pretty cosy, featuring a peacock feather stranded motif.

The Peacock Feather E-Reader Cosy is based on stylised silhouettes of a peacock’s tail feathers.

The case is knitted as a long stocking stitch strip, starting at the opening (non-flap) end, in one piece in three sections: (i) the front, which starts with a moss stitch section and features the peacock feather motif that is incorporated using stranded colourwork; (ii) the back, which is knitted in plain stocking stitch; (iii) the flap, which is knitted in moss stitch (to prevent curling) with slight shaping for the flap corners; two yarn over buttonholes are incorporated into the flap. Between each section, a single garter ridge is worked to make the case fold more neatly. The case is finished by mattress stitching the two long seams and adding wooden buttons.

The case’s dimensions are approximately 19.5 cm × 13 cm, which makes it the perfect size for any of the following Kindle models: Kindle Touch, Kindle 4 and 5 and Kindle Paperwhite; and would work with other e-readers of similar size.
