These socks feature a “peacock pattern” inspired by the elegant feathers of a peacock.

By combining yarn overs, lifted stitches, and decreases, the unique knitting technique creates a three‑dimensional feather motif. When worn, the pattern adds just the right amount of volume, giving your feet a stylish accent.
They are knit from the cuff down to the toe. The motif repeats rhythmically, making the pattern enjoyable to work on as it progresses.

The sample piece uses Alegria, a plump, soft sock yarn with a pleasant feel against the skin.
Because the texture of the stitch pattern stands out clearly, the design looks great not only in solid colors but also in multicolored space‑dyed yarns. Since the base is reverse stockinette, even highly colorful yarns take on a slightly softer, more subdued look.
