This pattern is no longer available. We’d like to thank Ann Budd for wonderful designs she created for our (now discontinued) exclusive yarns. Ann is a wonderful designer and you can see her Ravelry collection by clicking on her name above.

You can still purchase Adam & Eve! It’s dyed by our friends at Hand Maiden Yarns in Nova Scotia under the name Casbah. Ask for it at your LYS.

Designed by Ann Budd exclusively for River City Yarns, this lovely cowl design makes the most of RCY’s in-house yarn, Adam & Eve. The cowl design incorporates diagonal “peaks” and vertical “ridges” that accentuate and blend the hand painted colours of this very special yarn. The pattern, which repeats over ten stitches and four rows, is easy to memorize and fun to knit. The yarn, which is a mix of merino and cashmere, is easy on the hands and forms soft and beautiful folds. Hand-dyed for River City Yarns by Canada’s own Handmaiden, this yarn is the perfect palette (every time!) for Ann’s beautiful design.
