Pear Blossom Edging
by Sue Perez
A pretty little edging designed to celebrate National Crochet Month (and the approach of spring!).
You can use any yarn you like, with the appropriate size hook. The samples shown here were worked in No. 3 crochet thread (white) and a dk weight mercerized cotton (pink).
Edging is worked bottom-up, starting with a row of blossom clusters which are followed by a quick and easy mesh pattern.
Use it to trim scarves, napkins, towels, table runners, or anything else that takes your fancy! See photo at left for an example of Pear Blossom Edging as applied to a simple fabric scarf.
Thanks for viewing, and happy National Crochet Month!
