Happy 30th Anniversary to the Long Island Knitting Guild!

I am honored that this shawl design was chosen for the group’s Pearl anniversary celebration in the Spring of 2019. The group has so many talented knitters that I am always in awe during “Show and Tell” at the meetings!

“Pearl Cascade” is a variable shawl - not only is the size variable (work as many repeats to obtain desired size) but the shape is also variable: increasing the number of stitches cast on will increase the ration of width to depth. ALSO - any weight yarn can be used for the shawl. My model was made in DK, but Sport, fingering, or lace would also be lovely.

Directions are written and also charted.

“Pearl Cascade” is a sister to “The Forest Primeval” shawl; purchasing one of the two shawls will discount the other shawl’s price to zero when you put it in your shopping cart.
