Pearlie is one of the patterns in the eBook Winter Sonata.

I know that not many knitters like making nupps but undeniably that nupps always give magical touch to most knitting works. When I decided to make a hat and cowl set, I knew exactly that I wanted to have nupps in them. Both hat and cowl are knitted in round with circular needle and they are done quickly too. I used two skein of Malabrigo Worsted in colorway Pearl for the set and now you have the idea how the name of these patterns come from.

Materials:

Yarn: Malabrigo Worsted in colorway 36 Pearl 100% Pure Merino Wool 210yard/100gm – 2 skeins

Needle: 4.5mm circular needles or DPN Gauge: 18 stitch = 4”

Finished size: Hat – One size fits all

Cowl – 6” x 50” (circumference)

Difficulty: Intermediate

Notion: Stitch markers and tapestry needle.
