Peasant -Bread Tunic
From the book:
As an old hippie, I reacted in a visceral way to my first sight of Kimberly’s pattern. The tunic seemed so contemporary, yet it also hearkened back to the Age of Aquarius I remember so well. Using an artisanal yarn, spun at a small mill and hand-dyed, made the tunic feel even more “of the earth”.
The sweater itself has an ebb and flow as you knit-equal parts easy and thinking knitting. The lace embellishment totally works for me, yet the piece would still be beautiful with only garter-stitch edges and a simple stockinette. Vicki Stiefel
