For this pattern you can use any size yarn and any size hook.

Begin with a foundation chain that is 1/2 the measurement of your chest or hips, whichever is largest.
(If making a cropped top, use the chest measurement.)
(For example: if your measurement is 40 inches, the foundation chain should be 20 inches long, in an even number or multiples of 2).

Worked top down.

For size small total yardage is approx. 380 yds.

This top could be made all in one color, or all in single crochet stitches, or all in pebble stitch. I worked a sequence of 4 rows of pebble stitch, and 4 rows of sc.
