This Fair Isle beanie is made up a number of small or ‘peerie’ patterns making this a quick and fun knit. I used Walcot Yarns Opus for this although you could use odds and ends of any heavy 4 ply or sport weight yarn you have in your stash.

Notes:

  • Knit in the round from brim to crown.
  • Can be worn slightly slouchy or fitted
  • Have fun designing your own colourways and patterns using the chart. Colour combos could be changed or the peerie bands could be knit in a different order, feel free to make this hat your own!

Needles

  • 3.25 mm (US3) double pointed or circular needles for working small circumferences in the round
  • 3.75 mm (US5) double pointed or circular needles for working small circumferences in the round
  • Adjust needle size as needed to get gauge.

Notions

  • Tapestry needle
  • Stitch marker
