Peggy measures approximately 28cm/11in from the tip of her beak to the end of her body and is around 21cm/8¼in tall when seated. With her gold beak, turquoise wings and fluorescent stripes, Peggy is a great excuse to get all tropical with your needles!

You’ll be pleased to know that this pattern has been reviewed by professional technical editor to ensure that it’s super-easy to follow!

To make this pattern accessible to newer knitters, all the pieces are knitted flat on straight needles and seamed afterwards, making this a big but manageable project. To avoid being left with a mountain of sewing at the end, it’s a good idea to seam and stuff the pieces as you go along. Alternatively, with the exception of the feet, every piece can be knitted in the round.

This pattern is intended for personal use so it’s fine to print it out but please don’t sell it, share it on the internet or make multiple copies. What you can sell (more money for yarn – YAY!) is finished items made from this pattern so long as you’ve made them yourself and it’s not on a commercial basis. Please remember to credit me as the designer!
