Sharon the Sheep
Looking to take your knitting to pastures new? If so, Sharon the Sheep might just be the one for ewe! Measuring 28cm/11in from nose to tail, this fleecy friend is made using loop stitch, a very simple variation on the normal knit stitch. This technique is easy to master but a step-by-step photographic tutorial is included so you’ll have everything you need to create your very own baaaaarilliant buddy!
All pieces are knitted flat on straight needles (although most can be knitted in the round). They’re then seamed and attached, mainly using mattress stitch. You can also find a video showing the loop stitch technique here.
You’ll be pleased to know that this pattern has been reviewed by a professional technical editor to ensure that it’s super-easy to follow!

This pattern is intended for personal use so it’s fine to print it out for personal use but please don’t sell it, share it on the internet or make multiple copies. What you can sell (more money for yarn – YAY!) is finished items made from this pattern so long as you’ve made them yourself and it’s not on a commercial basis. Please remember to credit me as the designer!
And finally…
I’d love to see your finished sheep so please share him or her on Instagram and here on Ravelry!
