This cuddly Pembroke Welsh Corgi joins the Dera Dogs knitting pattern range, and makes a fun knit for any dog lover.

This pattern has been designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz using acrylic DK yarns, and is knitted flat on single pointed needles.

RECOMMENDED YARN
Deramores Studio Anti-Pilling DK in Pearl and Gingerbread; one 100g skein in each colour
Double knitting/light worsted weight
100% acrylic

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.75mm (US 5) straight single pointed knitting needles

NOTIONS
Toy filling
A darning or tapestry needle for seaming
Two 12mm toy safety eyes
An 18mm toy dog nose
30cm of black embroidery thread for the mouth
For the collar, you will need a few metres of a green DK acrylic yarn

SIZES
One Size: The corgi stands at 26cm long.

TECHNIQUES
Work flat on single pointed needles (not in the round).
Other techniques include casting on and off, knits and purls, increases and decreases, intarsia colour-work, and seaming to finish.
