This pattern includes over 80 pictures and many tips on how to make this adorable set - Penny and her pencil backpack.

Both the doll and the backpack are made with the same size yarn and hook - super chunky yarn and a 6.5 mm crochet hook. I use Clover Amour hooks.

To complete this pattern, you will need to know the following stitches and techniques: crochet in the round, crochet in rows, single crochet, half double crochet, treble crochet, double crochet, extended single crochet, foundation single crochet, slip stitch, chain, magic ring, invisible decrease, increase, crochet in back look only, crochet in front loop only, change color, join yarn, single crochet 3 together.
