This hat is part of a collection of horticultural hats that have combined my love of plants with my knitting design.
I chose the Peony because I love the way they start out as neat, orderly, fat buds and then open up into huge, blousey, exuberant flowers.
The hat is knitted in the round as a beret/tam style. Unblocked, it would work equally well as a slouchy beanie.
