Peony Pocket Pouch
Whether you’re dancing your heart out at the main stage or playing it cool on the lawn, keep all your summer essentials at hand in the Peony Pocket Pouch. It’s the perfect size for your essentials!
The Peony Pocket Pouch is crocheted as a single piece in the jasmine stitch, with accent-colored flowers worked in throughout. It is then stitched together on each side, with the top folded down and secured with a button. Add a simple crocheted strap and funky fringe to finish.
Size of loop made in puff stitch will determine the size of the final Jasmine Stitch. Be sure to keep your tall loops the same size throughout the project.
Carry C1 underneath MC in every row. Gently pull C1 taut as you go to keep it from showing through MC sts.
The alternate-colored Jasmine Stitches are made over 2 rows. The bottom 4 petals of the flower are made in the first row and the top 2 petals are made in the next row. The bottom 4 petals are made by completing one full Jasmine Stitch with C1, followed by a Jasmine Stitch where only the first petal is in C1, and the remaining petals with MC. In the following row, the top petals are made by a Jasmine Stitch where the third petal only is in C1, followed by a Jasmine Stitch with only the second petal in C1.
Each row of Bag Body begins with a Foundation Puff Stitch as turning stitch (does not count towards total puff stitch count).
