Perge
Named for the Ancient Greek city located in Southern Turkey, Perge features columns of stockinette divided by small lace columns. Perge is worked toe-up and features a gusset-and-heel flap construction. Instructions are given for customizing foot length.
One skein of Madelinetosh Pashmina should be sufficient for most sizes.
The construction and stitches used in this sock are a simplified version of Lady Una. If you enjoy knitting these and are looking for a pair of lacy knee highs, check it out.
Skills needed: basic decreases, Judy’s Magic Cast On, knitting in the round, lifted increases, centered double decreases, wrap and turn short rows.
Shoes are ECCO Sculptured Lace-up Pump in grey.
