Black (CC), 1 skein

US size I/9 (5.5 mm) crochet hook or size to obtain gauge

Yarn needle
Split ring stitch markers
Tassel-making tool (optional)

STITCHES USED
Chain (ch)
Single crochet (sc)

Hat is worked in the round; join each rnd with a slip st to first st (center back of hat).

Earflaps are worked down from beginning chain in rows, after Hat is completed.
