Made with four or more colors, but rarely more than two at a time, this pattern is a fun knit that is easy to customize. Knit it as-is or insert other designs or names to make a personalized stocking four your favorite pets or people!

In lieu of Eco Wool, you can use any yarn you like (though wool works best for colorwork) with needles 2 sizes smaller than the yarn would normally require.

I suggest a minimum of 4 colors, but you can always add more. The most important factor to consider when selecting colors is contrast. You want there to be a good amount of contrast between your colors, especially colors that will be used next to each other.
