These diaper covers are the best! Ribbed throughout with a high waist to maximize a snug fit throughout the size range and to prevent leaks and blowouts. There are shortrows to shape the bum, so the diapers have a front and back, but they are reversible.

The single stranded version is trim fitting, with an option to double the yarn in the main body of the diaper for a thicker cover perfect for heavy wetters or nighttime use.

Both styles (trim and thick) require a US size 7 needle, thin requires a US size 8 and thick requires a US size 10. Circular 16” are perfect for this project and US size 7 dpns are needed for the leg holes.

Yardage needed for the thin version is 115 (195, 215) and for the thick version you need 210 (285, 330) yards.
