YARN
Approximately 300 yards of a #3 DK weight yarn.
Yarn used in examples: Paintbox Cotton DK #406 Slate Grey & Cascade Ultra Pima #3718 Natural
MATERIALS
US Size E/4 (3.5mm) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge, yarn needle, scissors, 24 gauge jewelry wire, wire cutter & pliers, 2 beads with large holes, crochet hook small enough to fit into the beads.

Length: 7”, Around: 21”, Brim Circumference: 49”
STITCHES & TECHNIQUES USED
ch(s) - chain(s), sc - single crochet, dc - double crochet, tr – treble crochet, st(s) - stitch(es), yo - yarn over, sl st – slip stitch
Treble cluster sts are also used and are explained in the pattern.
In the final round, you will need to single crochet over a piece of wire to help the brim hold it’s shape. This is not hard, don’t be scared! ;) You can use jewelry wire, which is easy to find in jewelry making aisle at your local craft store.
