Phi is a two color Möbius cowl. It features an adorable swirly colorwork pattern surrounded by relaxing stripes. It is knit in a tube in the round and then twisted to form a Möbius strip before grafting the ends together. It is knit using Dimond Laine Birdie held double to create a soft, fluffy fabric that is perfect for snuggling in.

MC: 550 yd / 503 m lace weight yarn
CC: 205 yd / 187 m lace weight yarn
Suggested yarn: Dimond Laine Birdie (74% Alpaca/26% Silk, 328 yd 300 m / 50 g), 2 skeins in colorway Air Mail (MC) and 1 skein in colorway Pout (CC) – yarn is held double throughout
Gauge
20 sts and 28 rows / 4” (10 cm) in stockinette stitch, after blocking
Tools
2 sets of size 5 (3.75 mm) 16” (40 cm) circular needles (or size needed to meet gauge)
1 stitch marker, crochet hook for provisional cast on, waste yarn, tapestry needle, scissors, measuring tape
Finished Measurements
